This particular story, on a stand-alone basis, is not especially significant. It does, however, illustrate that we seem to be electing people who regularly demonstrate that they are intellectually challenged.
Representative Peter King, R,NY, does just that in his comments regarding his past support for the Irish Republican Army.
In defending his support for the IRA and his jihad against Muslims,
he apparently is willing to back terrorists as long as they don't attack the U.S..
