One example of obscenity is a group of wealthy people known as Grammy Bashers.
Hard to believe that people with money are so crass and cynical when it comes to retirees who need safety nets because they don't have the wherewithal to pay the exorbitant costs of medical care, which they often need more regularly than younger citizens.
There are so many examples of 'I got mine, get your own' behavior in our world that there are times when I'm embarrassed to be a member of the same species. This is one of those times.

I thought Grammy bashers were people who criticized the music industry's self-congratulatory awards. (Instead of simply ignoring them, like me.)
