Here's a link to the most recent column by Kathleen Parker who is garnering more and more of my respect for her principled views, as opposed to partisan obeisance. Though she clearly is more drawn to the GOP than the Dems, over the years she has been fair in her appraisals of important values and principles, as she is in this column.
Parker displays the intellect, character and knowledge of our country and government which would make her a proper candidate for high office. Unfortunately it seems these are not the qualifications the cynical politicians are looking for, nor which they admire.
