Here's a 'Five Minute Iliad' of American politics, its back and forth cultural swings, swapping of labels and parsing of hatreds.
It's a too simple Cliffs Notes for the elite political scholar I'm sure, but for me, and perhaps many, who were Republicans, but who realized the party left us, it works. I can now cite chapter and verse to my hold-out Republican friends and family, about how and when the party left me when they accuse me of being an apostate.
