Who's The Bigot and the Extremist Here?

If you have even a slight concern that the U.S. for years has adopted a policy towards Israel that it's interests and the U.S.'s are intertwined if not the same, please read this essay by Glenn Greenwald about the smearing of Charles Freeman by the neocon, pro-Israeli lobbies.

Greenwald includes many references to writers who find this smearing reprehensible, plus revelations about sitting politicians who support the smears, including Democrats. As such reading one essay, this one, can pretty much help the reader understand what's been going on since Obama's DNI, Adm. Dennis Blair appointed Freeman to the National Intelligence team.
The clear wish is to have Charles Freeman provide Obama with another view on the Middle East besides than the one-sided view which the Israel lobby has demanded for years, which is that Israel can do no wrong.

That includes essentially destroying Gaza, blockading Gaza, occupation of Palestinian lands, settlements on Palestinian lands, and on and on.

I've posted on and provided links to Roger Cohen's three recent columns which castigate Israel, and to which Greenwald alludes in his piece. Reputable journalists, including Jews, are exposing the neocon, Israeli lobby smears.

Neocons, AIPAC and Israeli lobbies(but I repeat myself) wouldn't agree with Greenwald of course. Kneeling at the throne of Rush Limbaugh might be laughable, but this is no laughing matter.
