A Human Disgrace

Here is another link to an article about racial prejudice and Obama's candidacy.

The results of an AP/Yahoo poll indicate that prejudice against blacks is very real, and that Obama will suffer from it.

This is far more than sad. It's a continuing tragedy. The result of this human frailty is likely to be the election of McCain as the next president, a man of Faustian morals, who has betrayed his own integrity; a proven liar, flip flopper, whose desire to be president is so unbounded that he's willing to say anything, do anything, smear anybody who gets in his way. Whose temper is demonstrably shorted fused and who leaps before he looks.

His latest ad depicts Obama and Raines, two black men accused of making millions in the financial markets, followed by the sad and troubled face of a white woman; a completely transparent racial slur.

It's completely over-the-top shameful and hateful. McCain knows that he can't win without pandering to the basest of human prejudices. He was sunk by such in 2000 at the hands of Rove, and now embraces Rovian nastiness for his own selfish benefit.

McCain is a warrior by nature, training and profession, with a take no prisoners, victory at any cost approach to war.

This guy could have his finger on the big red button. We must not let that happen.
