This would seem to be a basic lesson Bush should have learned a long time ago. Cultural Anthropology 101 would have sufficed.

As has been true all along, when we leave in 2011(I'll believe it when I see it) Iraqi culture will reassert itself, unencumbered by the western culture which has been imposed on it by force.
