Cherished Principles

Bill Kristol's two cents contribution to the financial mess includes a most telling phrase.

"What are cherished principles for but to be violated in emergencies?"

He speaks for all neocons, especially John McCain who has violated all his so-called cherished principles in the emergency he faces, his fear of losing his bid to be president.

I thought I was the only maniac that noticed it.

"What are cherished principles for but to be violated in emergencies?"

The answer, of course, is the opposite. The whole point of cherished principles is that they are exactly that. PRINCIPLES. In case these nutjob neocons aren't aware of what these are, they should be told that principles are deeply held moral beliefs that are not EVER violated.

If you break your promise once it becomes inconvenient, then it was never a promise in the first place. So stop telling us about your principles. You don't have any.
