Sack Him!

As is so often the case, EJ Dionne has called it right.

Read his analysis of McCain's jumping into the game in the fourth quarter with a clean uniform, pretending to be the quarterback who saves the day. I hope it doesn't take too long before the guys who have rolled in the mud, sack him, take him down and dirty him up. He deserves nothing less.

This, contrary to David Brooks' partisan blathering, is the real John McCain; the grandstander, the shoot first, ask questions later cowboy, the embracer of those he once accurately called "agents of intolerance", the narcissist who has come to realize that he's losing the battle of his life, his fight for the White House. He'll say anything, do anything, be anything he deems necessary in an attempt to avoid defeat. He defines everything in life as victory or defeat, a black and white mentality. He, like Bush, doesn't do nuance.

That kind of man should never be allowed within a mile of the office of the President of the United States, and the nuclear codes which go with that office. He must be stopped.

Sack him!
