McCain, The Prevaricating Maverick

"The pages weren't numbered so I had no idea what was missing." That's what Dr. Sanjay Gupta had to say about his experience as a member of a selected(not select) group of journalists who were permitted to look at McCain's health records recently.

So it's come to this: John McCain, would you buy a used car from this man? Who would ever have thought that he could be vulnerable to such a question, the self described maverick and straight talker? But today it's a fair question.

Just so you know, the word "maverick", as a noun, was originally defined, especially in the Southwest, as "an unbranded calf, separated from its mother, who belongs to the first person to put a brand on it".
