Going Out of Business Sale; Everything Must Go

The Voice has been saying for a long time now that the military/industrial complex is so well established that it's more powerful than any administration, regardless of which party is in power. Here is a piece about that, this time with the GOP in power.

The military spokesperson says it's all about making for a more secure world.

Bull!

It's all about the neo-cons arming all sides of disputes around the world to fan the flames of ethnic hatred, preparing the battlefields of the future.

If the Dems win in November they likely can reverse some laws and regulations put into place by the Bush people.

But what can they do, if they even want to, to halt the sale and shipment of arms agreed to under Bush?

The big bucks are made in war.

Actually, I think that a new administration could cancel the export licenses that are necessary for at least the more complex and advanced weapons systems. What are the contractors going to do, sue?

The real problem will come with the contractors' allies in Congress--Democrat as well as Republican.
